We were honored to take on a very special branding project for Muse Fusion + Sushi, the latest creation of the EAAT Restaurant Group. This modern sushi bar is no ordinary establishment – it's a heartwarming tribute to the owner’s daughter, a young model/actress with exceptional talent and drive on her way to stardom. For such a moving story of family and female empowerment, the brand and its presentation had to be unique and authentic to capture the essence of the owner's vision and his daughter's inspiring journey.
We decided to focus the brand direction for Muse Fusion + Sushi on the owner's daughter, who's beauty, talent, and drive are the inspirations behind this restaurant. We chose to represent her with a bold and striking silhouette as the brand’s logomark, amplifying her strength, beauty, and Asian heritage. Paring this memorable brand icon with retro typography and a vibrant color palette further reinforced the brand's identity, conveying a sense of fusion, eastern cuisine, and female empowerment.
As part of the brand identity package, we also designed the menu suite for Muse which included a dine-in menu, a 4-screen digital menu, and a trifold to-go menu.
After completing the brand identity package, the owner requested our help to design and install interior graphics to further enhance the dinning experience and reduce remodeling cost. With our team of designer and vinyl installer, we incorporated cute sushi emojis and vibrant patterns throughout the restaurant, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all ages. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you'll be greeted by a fun mural, and while you wait in line to place your order, you'll find strategically placed logos and hashtags on the walls perfect for snapping a selfie and share your experience on social media. These elements not only create a memorable dining experience but also promote the restaurant's online presence.
Since its opening in 2022, Muse has quickly become a beloved neighborhood sushi spot in south Austin, offering affordable and high-quality rools, mouth-watering bubble tea, and a fun dining experience. With its irresistible menu, welcoming atmosphere, and well designed brand identity, Muse Fusion + Sushi is sure to win hearts and taste buds for years to come.
